About the Property
Affordable Housing in Manchester, NH
Originally Our Lady of Cedars Church, the church congregation relocated in 2005. In 2006, Families in Transition purchased the property. Families in Transition in partnership with Great Bridge Properties undertook the renovations of the church and construction of a new 29 unit residential affordable housing building. Renovations to the church transformed the lower level into offices for clinical and administrative use. The main floor of the church is slated to be an expansion of the Family Outfitters Thrift store which is operated by Families in Transition. The original store is located at the Family Mill located on 394 Second Street in Manchester, NH. Family Willows was completed in the Spring of 2008.
